Homiyo Tesfaye ran a season-best 3:33.47 in the 1500m at the Herculis Monaco Diamond League meeting on 21. July.
While already a world and European championships medalist, Gesa Krause had not reached the top of the podium in Diamond League competition until her victory in Rabat on 16. July.
With his performance at the London Diamond League meeting on 9. July, Philip Milanov remained in contention for the season’s Diamond League discus points title.
