Gesa Krause continued her late-season momentum at the ISTAF meeting in Berlin on 27. August, improving her own German record with the season’s fastest European time in the 3000m steeplechase.
Ruth Jebet reclaimed her status as the world’s top women’s steeplechaser with her victory at the 2017 Diamond League event final in Zurich on 24. August.
Gold medalist Rose Chelimo (marathon) and bronze medalist Kipyegon Bett (800m) were the top performers among the 22 Personae-managed athletes competing at the ’17 IAAF World Championships in London.
Ruth Jebet was the top finisher among the Personae-managed athletes competing in the world championships 3000m steeplechase final on 11. August.
Personae will be representing an unprecedented five athletes in the same event final at the ’17 world championships in London, as Celliphine Chespol, Gesa Krause, Ruth Jebet, Winfred Yavi, and Purity Kirui all advanced from their respective 3000m steeplechase heats into the final.
Just two days after Rose Chelimo won marathon gold, Kipyegon Bett became the second Personae-managed athlete to reach the podium at this year’s world championships in London, finishing 3rd in the 800m.
