Eunice Kirwa continued the momentum she established with her marathon bronze medal in the 2015 IAAF world championships, as she on 7. February won the Marugame (Japan) Half Marathon in a new personal best time.
Track & Field News magazine (Palo Alto, California) on 4. January published its annual world rankings for the 2015 outdoor season. Philip Milanov (Discus) and Virginia Nyambura (3000m Steeplechase) each earned No. 3 rankings, to lead a total of eleven Personae-managed athletes receiving world top-10 honors in their respective events.
Gesa Krause (Germany) and Philip Milanov (Belgium) were recognized as the year’s top athletes by their respective national track & field federations.
Abraham Cheroben’s winning time of 59:10 in the Medio Maraton de Valencia on 18 October moved him to 1st on the ’15 world performance listing over the half marathon distance.
Abraham Cheroben’s winning time and new personal best of 27:35 in the Utrecht Singelloop 10 km held on 27-September moved him into 2nd place on the ’15 world performance chart for the distance.
Although finishing only 6th in the ’15 IAAF Diamond League women’s steeplechase final, Virginia Nyambura Nganga captured the overall ’15 IAAF Diamond Points Race Championship in the women’s steeplechase.
Paul Koech and Virginia Nyambura Nganga returned to their winning ways in historical fashion – Koech via victories in the Zurich Diamond League 3000m steeple and ISTAF Berlin 5000m just three days apart, and Nyambura by setting a new world best in the 2000m steeple in Berlin.
Eunice Kirwa’s 3rd place performance in the marathon on 30-August, made her the third Personae-managed athlete to reach the podium at the 2015 IAAF World Championships.
With his silver medal performance in the discus throw final on 29-August, Philip Milanov became the second Personae-managed athlete to reach the podium at the 2015 IAAF World Championships.
