In Doha, Virginia Nyambura‘s winning 3000m Steeplechase time of 9:21.51 established a new personal best in the event by over half a minute, while defeating sub-9:10 steeple performers Sofia Assefa (’12 London Olympics Bronze medalist) and Hiwot Ayalew (’12 London Olympics 5th placer). Lidya Chepkurui ran 9:27.62 to finish 5th in the race. Other Personae-managed athletes with ’15 world top-10 results in Doha included Ferguson Rotich in the 800m (2nd in 1:44.53/’15 world no. 2), Alfred Kipketer in the 800m (3rd in 1:44.59/’15 world no. 3), and Isiah Koech in the 3000m (7:40.39).
Noteworthy Personate athlete performers in Shanghai included Hillary Ngetich in the 1500m (2nd in personal best 3:35.40) and Paul Koech in the 3000m Steeplechase (2nd in 8:11.39), while in Eugene, they included Alfred Kipketer in the 800m (4th in 1:45.69) and Albert Rop in the 5000m (5th in 13:15.66).
Upcoming Diamond League circuit stops include Rome (4-June), Birmingham (7-June), Oslo (11-June), and New York (13-June).
