Golazo personalities represents over a hundred athletes from all over the world. 25 of them will take a shot at a medal at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Torun this weekend.
Marc Corstjens, the driving force behind Golazo personalities: “Never before have we had such a big delegation of European Golazo athletes at a Championship competition. It is the direct result of a conscious choice that we made about two years ago. Since then, we do not just focus on Belgium or East Africa, instead we have gradually and sensibly extended our portfolio to also include European talent. We can already see that this was a good decision.”
Just over half of the athletes are from Belgium, 13 to be precise. The other athletes come from Germany (5), Luxemburg (2), Bulgaria (1), Italy (1), The Netherlands (1), Romania (1) and Slovenia (1).
